Which Team will Jason Kidd choose? Apparently his choice are down to four teams. The Nets, Mavs, Spurs or Nuggets. Jason Kidd will probably go with the Nets or the Spurs. If his main goal is a ring staying with the Nets is a good idea concluding that they have made it to the finals every year and the Spurs don't have David Robinson or a good enough point guard to stop Jason Kidd. There's some hope for the Mavericks he might get traded to the Mavs for Mavericks point guard Steve Nash. My opinion is he will consider Spurs but stay with the Nets.

Jason Kidd is officially a free agent and teams are coming. Jason Kidd's agent Jeff Schwartz had the phone ringing off the hook. He was contacted today at 12:01 a.m by the Mavericks owner and the San Antonio Spurs both trying to get in on the deal.
It is said that the race is down to two the Spurs and the Nets. The Nets are feeling pretty comfortable about the point guard. They know he likes it there and knows he has a shot a ring with the Nets.
The Nets are expected to offer Jason Kidd approximately $99 million dollars over a six year period. The Spurs are expected to offer Kidd $5 million dollars less but since there is no state income tax in San Antonio it is estimated that Jason Kidd will make 300,000 more with San Antonio then with the Nets. Jason Kidd has said he likes it at New Jersey and will have his decision made around the third week of July.

Kidd still playing mind games. He made a visit to San Antonio on a charter jet arriving sunday afternoon where San Antonio Gregg Popovich was waiting. They then got in a black limosine and drove to a hotel where team officials had reserved accommodations for them. The Spurs are the only one with enough money for Jason Kidd considering he made 10 million this past season. The Spurs don't know what do about their point guard Tony Parker but Jason Kidd was okay about the idea of playing alongside Tony Parker.
